eole part deux: meanwhile in the washroom...
Stuck.
I was going to leave the stress corners be ratchet but I wanted to see if my brain could figure out how to fix it. I put my dress form in my toilet. I do alot of my thinking in or on the toilet. Pee and poo time is a neglected productivity opportunity. I read in there, draw, ponder important questions, so it has also become one of the cleanest parts of the flat. My bedroom is a dark pit of crazy. On top of being my bedroom, it is also my office and sewing room. It is just not big enough for me and my stuff.

On Sunday 5th I volunteered on the regional cycling race. 6 hours in the shade with soul chilling bise wind gusts. It was super fun and discovered a part of the canton I was not familiar with … all 700 sq kilometres of it. However, once on my way home the bise headache kicked in and owned me for a solid day and some. So here I am having emerged from wanting to perform my own lobotomy with a pencil dark night style, trying to gather the energy to continue.
As each time I start a new project, a fabric bomb exploded in my room. But oddly a certain amount of “mess” soothes me, hypertidyness stresses me out. I am so odd...yet this is too much even for me! Putz putz putz!.
(Just looking at this corner gives me hives. my brain understands what to do...I have done it before, but never in a curve...but if I keep unpicking over and over the fabric will die, so... I am definitely changing the sleeves)
Anyway...
I decided to continue by hand, the button facings, hem and cuff....handsewing helps me think....

Finally during a wee it came to me. So I am going to finish the McCall's tomorrow. Right now I have a fabric explosion to deal with....
